- True to its name Vigyan Express is the name given to a Mobile Science Lab. It has been started this year with a purpose of stimulating scientific curiosity among high school children and to reach children in remote areas of Dantewada with innovative ways of learning science.
The idea to start this program emerged during our work with teachers and students, we found that most of the time Science experiments were not conducted and students were learning Science without performing or observing a single experiment.
Currently Vigyan Express is reaching to 16 schools of Dantewada. Typically members of Vigyan Express together with the local Science teacher interact and perform experiments with about 80 students. The students watch and perform a maximum number of 16 experiments in a day.
